I chose Early Childhood Education because I love working with and around children. One of my absolute favorite quotes to tell young children is” You get what you get, and you don’t throw a fit.” However, I like to also quote them with saying “Turn that frown upside down.”

I chose early childhood education because I love teaching and being taught. I also saw the progress that was being made in area centers in the babysitting vs. educating aspect and I was excited to teach children in their formative years when they get to experience so much for the first time
I want the students in my classroom to learn that it’s definitely ok to mess up…that’s how we learn.
